Visiting Helgeseter, Sædalen, Bergen municipality
In the morning of May 7th the delegations from Russia (Kaliningrad),
Belarus, Poland, Estonia and Latvia visited Helgeseter, Sædalen, in
Bergen municipality, where the foreign experts were hosted by the
administrator Geir Legreid.
Project participants were thoroughly introduced to the Helgeseter
seniors support centre, its programs in Bergen and international
cooperation. The workshop took place there and its topic was:
Norwegian social policy and practical support provided by Helgeseter
centre for people with lifelong mental development problems.
This workshop was organized by Yana Gorbalenya, the
representative of the Norwegian organization People To People.
This workshop was attended by 14 project participants from the
Womens Union of the Kaliningrad Region, Foundation Interakcia,
Stowarzyszenie Vesuvio, Eesti People To People and EAPN-Latvia.
