Opening of the project closing conference in Minsk
On October 15th the project participants delegations from seven
Baltic Sea region countries (Russia (Kaliningrad), Denmark, Norway,
Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia) arrived in Minsk, Belarus.
The administrators of the Foundation Interakcia welcomed their
guests with presents at the Hotel Monastyrsky.
On the morning of October 16th, 25 project participants gathered in
the hall of the Hotel Monastyrsky for the opening of the project
closing conference. Introductory remarks at this event were made by
the project coordinator Laila Balga (EAPN-Latvia).
During the presentation, Vice-President of the Foundation
Interakcia Marina Borisova introduced the Foundations activities
in Belarus to the participants of the conference. Afterwards Irina
Ivanova, the project manager of the Foundation Interakcia,
presented the Foundations project on multi-annual support for
people with disabilities in the municipality of Valozhyn.
Marina Borisova (the project manager of the Belarusian Foundation
Interakcia), as well as Yuliya Kukhtsinskaya and Anastasia
Ryzhankova (the experts of Belarusian Foundation Interakcia)
organized this visit and welcomed the project partners.
